Today we had ICT and ICT club. In ICT we emailed our partners clues to find some treasure; Summer and I both found our treasure. In literacy I did one things in my draft book and two things in my literacy book. In my topic book I did my post topic assessment - mom and dad will see that on parent's evening.

Today I got to write my name in hieroglyphics on papyrus; it was like writing on a piece of grass but slightly more wrinkled. In maths I did a line graph - mine was well cool! I did pink and blue lines!

Today in maths I did pictograms on the computer - mine was really good. We did some more work on our Christmas cards - I finished mine off and Miss said mine was the best. Miss Giles came in to the class too and we had to do some topic writing while she came around asking questions.

Today we did swimming - it was well cool! After swimming we had play time, but I don't have to talk about that; then we had literacy; we did some more work on our information book. Miss showed mine to the whole class because I had included highlighted subtitles.

In maths I went around the school to year 3/4 and asked the people at the school reception and Mrs Giles and Mrs Geldard - but Mrs Giles and Mrs Geldard were busy so I had to ask some other teachers instead; I was asking them all what their favourite exercise was which I was collecting in a tally chart which I used to produce a bar chart.

Today in maths we did a mental maths test. I got 15 out of 20 so I did quite well. I also made a tally chart which I'm going to use in tomorrow work. Next we did literacy. In literacy we did some more note making on the Ancient Egyptians. We had computer club at lunch time and it was really fun. After lunch we got some pictures for my information book then I also did science. In science we had to do an experiment about dissolving and write a couple of sentences on it.

Today we missed maths because the assembly was too long - unfortunate wasn't it? I started my information book today about ancient Egypt - it was well cool because I've included a 'did you know' section. And I underlined a subsection with coloured pencils!!!

Today in maths it was brilliant - we got ghosts and we put them in boxes and I made mine pop out with a spring. We had to make the boxes ourselves, so we had to work out the net of a cube.

I did some art - we are going to make Christmas cards again this year and I designed mine today.

Today in maths we did 3d shapes; cube, sphere and that. First we had to identify the 3d shape and then from one piece of information like the number of vertices we had to work out which 3d shape it was.

In literacy I started writing an ancient Egyptian information book - I'm going to explain how to make papyrus in my book.

Today in swimming I did lengths and it was good. We had to do note taking and make them into sentances (that was alright but not as much fun as swimming).

Today we did ICT club - it was brilliant because we got to do whatever we wanted. Molly got an email from her mom in ICT club! In science we did an experiment and when we had finished we had to write it up (it was about dissolving solids). I finished my write up first; in fact I was the only one to finish so I got to go on the computer.
