Today in English we had to do more stuff about the highwayman and it was really easy.I'm not really enjoying  English at the moment but today it was alright. 

In PE we had to play cricket outside in the freezing cold weather. 

Today I told Mr Rowney that I had been selected for the athletics and he was really happy and told all the other teachers - even Mrs Giles! We did art today (a scene from The Highwayman) and I really liked mine - I did it all in charcoal and chalk.

Oh my God! I've been selected for the 11 and under athletics team for the whole of West Yorkshire!

Today we did our experiments with the circuits - but it was really easy so it only took about 10 minutes. In maths we did something that I can't remember so lets move on... I did netball training today ready for the contest on Thursday (that we are going to win).

I'm sorry I didn't blog on Friday, but I was tired so I just went to bed. Today in maths, Mrs Morrish was teaching us about adding and subtracting decimals, but it was really boring because she was in a bad mood. I had my athletics yesterday and told Mr Rowney about it - not sure how I did yet; I think we get a letter or an email about it later on.

We did PE today and we got all the apparatus out and acted like complete buffoons.

Today in maths we were doing percentages and it was really easy. But Mrs Morrish was having a go at my group because we're "to noisy and don't get on with enough work.

Anyway, in English we had to say what some of the phrases in the highwayman and that was easy as well.

This afternoon a school teacher from Farnley academy did PE with us and it was really fun because she wasn't treating us as if we were babys.  

Today Molly was trying to help me practice for athletics trials that I've got on Sunday - it was really fun because no one was in our way and if anyone was looking at us we would get them to try triple jump and they couldn't even do it.

We were doing RE (although it was nothing to do with religion). We did about role models; and she said that some teachers aren't very approachable - she could have been talking about herself!

Today was the first day back at school. In maths we did decimals but it was really hard because Mrs Morish didn't explain anything! We did PE and because hardly anyone had brought in their PE kit, we just played handball in our school uniforms - the girls was almost victorious!

Last day today - it was absolutely fabulishious - because we voted what film we wanted to watch and we voted for Nativity and nearly everyone in year 5/6 decided to watch that - we got absolutely loads of sweets too.

Today on maths there weren't any chairs so we got to go down to the ICT suite. We just played some maths games and stuff. Then we did big writing - I couldn't do it; we had to write a travel guide and I decided to go the Grand Canyon - but unfortunately there is nothing else in Arizona apart from the Grand Canyon!

We got to make ginger bread men and we were in the best group ever! And after school I got to sell the school newspaper with Summer.

Hello people. Today was epic because first of all I got to have a fruitella and two chocolate coins because my name was in the calendar  but it got a bit worse after that. We had to do so called Christmas maths with Mrs Morish again and then in literacy all we had to do was finish off our poem from yesterday.
