This morning I didn't cry when I went into school and on the computer today I did an acrostic poem (instead of a haiku poem). Today was the Easter egg competition; no-one won in our class, but everyone who did enter got a bag of sweets - but I didn't enter, so I didn't get one. Today was our team meeting but I didn't get to do any of the activities (but I won a prize through mommy - she bought me two Easter eggs!)

Yesterday I forgot my blog so here goes: yesterday I can't remember what I did!
Today we did times and divide word problems - they were quite hard. I finished my information booklet today - it's all about Viking Gods like Thor (he was the god of thunder - he was mad and the most popular of the gods), Tyr (he had one eye, one hand and was the god of law), Freyja (she's the goddess of death, war and love) and Odin (the old father - he was the god of war, death and poetry!) Odin had an eight legged horse and two ravens.

Today I went to Little Howard's Big Question, so I'm going to talk about that and not school - I know the blog is called 'Nadia's School Day's' but today it's going to be 'Nadia's Little Howard Big Question Day'.
At the beginning, Big Howard was drawing pictures of people in the audience and he drew a picture of me! The show was really good and at the end I even got Big Howard's autograph!

Today I got 16 out of 20 in our mental maths test - I got 'super star' rating and two team points. I did some more of my information book too and got another team point - that's the trouble with me; I'm always getting team points!
We did history today - did you know a Viking long ships had as many as 65 pairs of oars - that's 130 oars in total!

Today I did angles in maths (some people did angels - they spelt the title wrong!) In angles we did North South East West and worked out whether the angle between two points on the compass was 90 degrees, 180 degrees or 270 degrees. I did some more in my information book today too - I'm writing about King Alfred the Great.

Today was my bad luck day, but there was one good thing; I might be able to get a new world record for the most consecutive days of falling over! I fell over yesterday by jumping over a bench - I jumped too early and landed on my face. Today I was skipping along with my friends and landed on my face again (same technique on both days).
I did loads of work on the computer - it took an hour and a half to do, but when it came to save it there wasn't any space, so I lost it all!
I hope tomorrow is better!

Today in maths I did measuring - it was quite hard because we had to measure a zig-zagged line to the nearest centimetre. We also did science, and in science our group did something different from everyone else - we had to measure each other's arms - me and Summer have got the longest arms in our science group.

Today I'm going to carry on with what happened yesterday, so read yesterday's blog before you read this one. After the wood, we went to the water park - that was my favourite activity. There was a big corkscrew thing which you put water in from a bucket that you filled up from a pump. After that you cad to spin it around and it went into another big bucket. It was great fun. There was this table with boats on it and we had to make them float, and the water went through a pipe and onto the table to make the boats float.
There was a toy digger thing which we could have a go on too - it was fun at the start but it soon got a bit boring. The last activity was the scavenger hunt - we had to find loads of things like a leaf skeleton.

Today we had a school trip with Ebor Gardens school. We did so much that I'll write about some of it today, and the rest tomorrow. We did three activities; in the woods, in the water park and a scavenger hunt. I'll just write about the woods today. We chose a partner from Ebor school - I was in a group with Suzan and the girl we chose was called Cassandra - she was a bit quiet. In the woods activity we walked around a bit - the woods were a bit like nanny and gradad's wood; they were really nice. We had to work as a team to build a tent like thing out of twigs (ours wasn't very good).
I'll tell you about the rest tomorrow.

In two days I'm going to Nell Bank with the year 2's from Ebor Gardens (that's another school), but tomorrow I'm not doing any handwriting because Miss said my handwriting is good enough!
Today we had to find the total and find the change with money sums - I don't like them much; it's a bit boring and our group always get the hardest work; it's not fair - why do I have to be the smartest in the class!

Today, no one beleived that my blog actually existing and nobody knew the proper colours of the rainbow except for me - it was a rubbish day. Even Miss though the colours were 'red and yellow and pink and green....' I told Miss that I've got my own rhyme - and that mine is correct!
I did pass my seven division facts though - now I'm on my nine times tables; I know them already. When I've finish my nine division facts I've finished my targets until year five.

Yesterday I did some notes about how Romans and Celts lived and today I wrote my notes up into sentences - we're going to make an information sheet about life in Roman Britain. In maths we did about temperature - I didn't really enjoy it, but I got it done. I passed by seven times table test today, so now I'm on my seven division facts! I've only got my none times tables to go!
Today we walked up the road and saw an arch sign which says 'Lower Wortley' there are two of them.

Today I did maths. In maths we went on the3 computers - we had to do a bare chart for the people who finished yesterday's work. You would think that drawing a bar chart was easy - but it wasn't because the computer's weren't working. First, we were writing the title, but we chose grey writing but it was too late, but we couldn't delete it, so we took about half an hour on the title! We even had to ask miss. The next problem was that the lines to draw the bar chart were too thick - we never got that working - we had to draw a square and change it's shape.

I got to level 9 in my reading books today! We had an assessment about how well we knew our targets today too - I'm not sure if I passed yet. If I did pass, I might move up a level. There are levels on everything - punctuation, spelling, maths - everything!
Our new theme is moving and growing - the human body; we did our first lesson today - we had to label some parts of the skull.
