This morning I brought a Numberjacks poster to school with me. I had been sent it by the man who writes Numberjacks who also reads this blog! I couldn't wait to show everyone the poster. When I got to school, I saw Chester and showed him the poster, and then I showed it to Mr Collier; I told him all about it. After registration, Mr Collier went onto the Cbeebies website and found the Numberjacks page and he looked at Spooky Spoon and all of the numbers. Then everyone from Mr Collier's class went onto Mrs Hudson's carpet and we all watched a programme about a boy and a snowman. The boy built a snowman and then there was a bit of magic and the snowman came to life.

After that it was playing in time; I was about to play with the printing where you can print things like Christmas sponges, but I didn't have time. Then it was playing out time; I played Numberjacks with Chester. Chester was 6, and for a change I was 7. When we went back in we had our milk - today we had carrots with the milk. Then it was time for lunch.

For lunch today I had spaghetti bolognese, croquette potatoes and sweetcorn and salad cream and for pudding I had ginger pudding with custard. Today Kaine said he had salad cream on his jelly, but he was telling a lie; it was just cream. Then we played out. We played Numberjacks again - we had to play Numberjacks all day today. I was too busy sorting out who was going to be each number; I had to sort out who was going to be three, who was going to be four; it was so complicated, that I was still doing it when it was tidy up time.

This afternoon, we practiced the nativity play again; all the nursery children have to go at the front and sit on the floor. I was on the happy side today because I was trying my best in the school play. Did you know, today Joshua, Ellis and Jake were being silly. After that it was home time. I went to after school club today.

We were very, very late today - the traffic was very bad. When I got into school they had already done the register, and they had been counting and everything - they even marked me and Mathew as not there - that's not good is it?

This morning we played Lazy Town - we played it very nicely; it was a change today because it was milk time and then playing out time - that's very strange isn't it? I don't know why we had a change. With my milk I had tangerine. When we went to play outside we played Numberjacks because Chester was all on his own playing it, so we decided to join him. I was 5, and Chester was 6. After that, we went in and it was dinner time; I had sausage, vegetables, cauliflower and roast potatoes with gravy, and for pudding I had rice pudding.

After dinner I played outside; I had to play Numberjacks because Chester wanted to play it. Then we went in and sat on the carpet for registration - when Mr Collier said 'Nadia Dawson' I said 'good afternoon Mr Collier', Stevie said 'yes Mr Collier' and Dominic just said 'yes'. Then Mrs Hudson taught me something - I can't remember what it was. And then it was playing inside time. Mr Collier did my soundbook with me - I did well. He even gave me wordbox ten. After that it was home time.

Monday, November 27, 2006

This morning Mr Collier was already doing the register when I arrived, and had even gone passed my name. Then it was swapping time on the carpet - I had to go on Mrs Hudson's carpet because I was in the yellow group; I'm in the yellow group first, but later in the day I'm in the red group. If you're in yellows or blues you go on Mrs Hudson's carpet, and if your in greens or reds, you stay on Mr Collier's carpet, then, in the afternoon, we're on a different carpet, and reds and greens go on Mrs Hudson's carpet and the yellows and blues on Mr Collier's carpet. Some people forget what colour they are, and they have to stay on Mr Collier's carpet.

On Mrs Hudson's carpet, she taught us something, and then we played inside. Someone lied today - about me at tidy-up time - they said Nadia messed up the workshop, and I said 'I didn't do it' and the teacher was really confused; Stevie said that Nichol messed it up, but she didn't - everyone was saying that other people had messed it up, but they hadn't; that's strange isn't it?

Then it was playing outside time; today I played with Chester and Jake. We played Lazy Town; do you know how you play it? Sporticus has lost his memory - it's that Robby Rotten. Then we went back in and had our milk; with milk I had apples. Then it was lunch time. For lunch I had meatballs, jacket potatoes and carrots with gravy and for pudding I had raisin pudding with custard - I liked it today. After that I played out; we played sneaky spies and then numberjacks; we sang 'in an ordinary sofa in an ordinary room....'

This afternoon Mrs Gibbon was our teacher. She did the register and then we played for a bit, and then we went to the hall to practice our nativity play. Maisey weed in her pants in the hall. We practiced our songs and people said things. Then it was home time. I went to after school club today.

Yesterday was my birthday. It was a special day because some people that go to a different school went to my party! I woke up very early in the morning because I was excited. When I went downstairs, there were lots and lots of presents on the table. I couldn't believe it was my birthday - it was really fan-dozzy-tastic. Nanny and grandad came to our house, and they had brought presents from uncle Paul, auntie Julie and nanny and grandad. I got a Glitterator, a Bratz face to put makeup on, and a cool Bratz cd player. After I opened my presents, I got ready for my party and we went down to fun city!
All my friends came to the party and we had a great time. It was fan-bibby-tastic. We played on the slides and even daddy and grandad had a go on the slide - daddy even went on the orange slide where he thinks the monsters are - there's no monsters really, it's not true, dad's wrong.
After playing, we had our dinner - I had chips and sausages with loads of tomato sauce. Then the lady brought my birthday cake and I brew out the candles - first 4 candles and then 1 with the second blow. After that, we went home and I unwrapped all my presents that I got from the party. I got loads of cool things. After that I played with my new things - I glitterated everything even my family - daddy is still glitterated, I can see lots of glitter on him.
After that we had our tea - pizza, salad and olives - well, I only had the garlic, and then nanny and grandad said that I should go with them to the hotel for a sleepover. We drove to the hotel, and went up to the room. There was a special light in the hotel which needed a card to work, I put my new care bear against the light for a couple of minutes, and then removed the card and all the lights went out, but my care bear was still glowing - she is called Glowy. Then we went to bed - I went fast asleep straight away.

Friday, November 24, 2006

This morning I went in very nicely. I was very happy today because it is a special day because nanny and grandad were coming to pick me up. After registration we went to assembly. There were people in the big book - it wasn't me, but I didn't mind because all the people are good, but they have to choose the ones that are really good to go in the big book. Then they were talking about stuff - I can't remember what it was - then they did the small book of team points; the most team points was a different class, and we were really sad because we haven't won the trophy for ages. After assembly we played inside, then Mr Collier told us that we should get ready to go to the post office. Mr Collier wrote two letters; one to Father Christmas and one to come back to our school. Then we all walked to the post office and posted the letters. We went inside the post office to buy the stamps, and then we posted them in the postbox. Then we went back to the school and played inside for a bit more.

Then it was playing outside time; we played numberjacks again. I was 5, Chester was 6, lots of other people were playing as well like Paige who was 7. After that, we went back in and had our milk - I had an orange with mine. Then it was dinner time. For dinner I had fish, potatoes, cucumber and chocolate pudding with custard.

After dinner we played outside for a bit, then we went in - this afternoon we practiced the nativity play, I was the north star, I put my arms in the air and sparkled on the big stage. Then we went back to the classroom and waited on the carpet for moms and dads. My nanny and grandad came to pick me up today.

Thursday, November 23, 2006

This morning I was a bit late - Mr Collier had already starting doing the register - but I arrived just in time for my name to be called out. After registration, we went to assembly. In assembly, one of the teachers called out my name and I stood up, and all the children sang happy birthday to me (and the others who were standing up - but they were big boys) - I was a bit shy. The teacher asked me how old I was going to be and where I was going for my party, and I said 'fun city and I'm going to be 5'.

After assembly, we played inside; we played in the dough area and made pigs with dough and we went in the workshop to make a fire engine, but it fell apart. Then we played outside; we played numberjacks; Erin was 4, I was 9 (for a change) and Chester was 10. We didn't have anyone to be the spooky spoon or the problem blob, but there were clues everywhere - this purple gooey stuff. After that we playing inside for a bit and then it was milk time. We had apples with our milk today - actually, I can't remember if it was apples, or pears or if we had any fruit at all - oh, now I remember, it was bananas.

For lunch I had spaghetti bolognese, jacket potatoes and some cucumber and some broccoli, and for pudding I had apple crumble with custard. This afternoon we couldn't play outside because it was raining, so we played inside, and I made a home card with pencils, but the pencils were made out of trees; and we did a house at the front, and then we wrote something in it and we wrote our names and stuff, and it was for Stevie and we wrote who it was from; Nadia and Chester. Then it was home time - the day went really quickly today.

Wednesday, November 22, 2006

This morning I didn't cry when I went in. Then Mr Collier did the register then we played inside for a bit and then we went to assembly. In assembly they talked about some girls and boys that used to go to Lower Wortley, but they weren't doing road safety with their seat belts and not crossing the road with their mommy and daddy. Then we played outside - we played numberjacks; I was 8 today - Chester was 6, and Ruby was 7. After that we went in and played numberjacks again, and then we chose Jake to be 0. Another boy caller Euan was going to be 1, and those two boys were in trouble because 1, 2 and 0 are trouble.

Then it was milk time - I had 25 pears - then it was lunch time. for lunch I had pizza, chips cucumber and salad cream and for pudding I had rice pudding. Then we played outside, and then we went back in. This afternoon we did a nativity about baby Jesus - we went to the hall, and we chose out parts in the play - someone needed to be the north star, and the teachers chose me (I put my hand up really high so that I would be chosen). Then we practiced the songs and we did the play. I was the north star and I lead all the other stars and I lead the kings to Bethlehem. Then it was playing outside time - today it was raining so we couldn't, and there was a picture of a little girl and some naughty boys pushed her over on the path, and there was another picture of two girls whispering something - the pictures were on Mrs Hudson's carpet. Then we played inside. I went to after school club today.

Tuesday, November 21, 2006

This morning I didn't cry when I went in. Then it was registration - Mr Collier reads our names from the register and we say 'good morning' when we hear our name. After registration we played inside; there were some sad things today, Mr Collier was doing something on the white board and I wanted a go but he wouldn't let me. We had to do a picture on it and I'm really good at pictures - I was going to do a doggy or a cat; meow, meow meow, woof, woof, woof.

When it was playing outside time, we played numberjacks - I played with Chester, Paige and Stevie. Stevie was 3, I was 5, Chester was 6 and Paige was 8. After that we played inside again. I played with the dough; actually, I played with the glue, but I was very careful not to get any glue on my cardie - I did get some on, but I cleaned it off with a tissue.

With milk we had pears (or course) and for lunch I had sausage, roast potatoes and gravy and for pudding I had plain sponge and custard. After that we played out; we played Luna Jim. When all the people have finished their lunch, they put their knife and forks away in this bucket thing, and if there is something you didn't want, you put it in the bin, and the tray has to go on the top, and the cup has to go underneath.

When it's time to finish playing outside, one of the teachers shouts 'its tidy up time' and we all tidy up, and if we don't hear, we just ask the teacher is it tidy up time. Then we went in and Mr Collier came and then - oh I forgot to say something in the middle - we practiced the singing of baby Jesus this morning - I should have remembered that!

This afternoon we played inside then it was home time - I went to after school club today.

Monday, November 20, 2006

This morning I was a bit late going in to school, I had to run down the path to school and daddy forgot the dinner money and the money for the play dough. When I got in Mr Collier was already doing the register - we were really late. Stevie was late too. After registration we sat on the carpet, and then we played with the sand with Chester. Then it was playing out time - we played couldn't play anything out side today - we were too lazy; actually we played Numberjacks with Daniel and Chester.

After that we went back in and sat on the carpet; Mr Collier gave us a picture of the three little pigs to colour in and we had to do a puzzle so that we wouldn't get eaten by the wolf. After that it was milk time' I had a pear with my milk. Then it was lunch time. Today for lunch I had ham, croquette potatoes and sweetcorn and pineapple and for pudding I had ginger pudding with custard. The we played outside.

Today there was a little change after dinner; Mr Collier was very slow today when he was coming back from dinner, so we had to play without him; but Mrs Hudson was already there. Then Mr Collier came back and did the register. Then we went on Mrs Hudson's carpet. While we were there Joshua squeezed my arm really tight and Jake said that was tight burning - it really hurt a lot. Then we played outside - we played witches. When it was home time there was a fire alarm, and we all had to go outside to the big girls and boys playground - it was very exciting. Then I went to after school club.

Friday, November 17, 2006

This morning I didn't cry when I went in. Mr Collier was wearing Pudsey Bear ears because it's Pudsey Bear day today. After registration we went to assembly. There was a big stage in the hall; it had 5 steps. Mr Giles did the assembly today.

After assembly we went back to the classroom and played inside and then outside. When we were playing outside I told Chester that I had a sore throat, and then Chester told the teacher. The teacher thought it was best if they called mommy or daddy to come and pick me up, so daddy came and picked me up from school just before lunch.

Thursday, November 16, 2006

This morning we had to leave the house a bit early because we had to take mommy to a very important meeting. After we dropped her off, daddy took me to school. I really wanted to bring my piano to school but daddy wouldn't let me. I was the first one in this morning. After registration, we went to assembly. Today Erin was sick in assembly - that was the most interesting part of assembly this morning. When we got back we played inside; I did some writing. I wrote 'look at the rainbow' - there were 2 rainbows on the picture.

After that we played outside - we didn't play any games today - just spinning around with a girl but I don't know her name - it might Stella or Bella. After that we went back in and Mr Collier gave out the milk - today we had carrots.

After that it was lunch - I had meat, cauliflower and rice and for pudding I had chocolate pudding with custard. After lunch I played outside with Chester - I didn't have a go on any bike, but I wanted to go on the red scooter but Sam didn't let me.

This afternoon we did afternoon register and then watched Justin on the computer white board. Then we did a picture on the board. After that it was home time - mommy picked me up today.

Wednesday, November 15, 2006

This morning I didn't cry when I came in. Mr Collier did the register, and then we went to assembly. Miss Atkinson's class did a play; there was a king who had a magic cupboard that was made out of glass, and it had lots of gold. Some baddies smashed the cupboard and took the gold, but the servants found the gold and the smashed pieces, and the baddies were sent to the dungeon.

After assembly I played inside with Chester; we played with the play dough making pancakes. After that it was playing outside time; we played fireman Sam, but Chester pushing me down in the playground 2 times, and Joshua pushed me down 1 time. So that makes 3 times altogether.

After that we watched a programme on TV, Mr Tambo, but there was no sound, and Mr Collier tried to fix it and he did - that's the good news. The programme had lots of Mr Tambo's on it, and at the end, Mr Collier wanted to do the song one more time, so he put it back on, sang the song and then said 'Thank you Mr Tambo, your the best'.

Then it was milk time, today we had pears or bananas with our milk, I chose a pear, because Chester and I don't like bananas; actually, I like bananas, but I was just teasing him - Chester's not my boyfriend anymore - well Chester I'm sorry I punched you today, but it was an accident.

After that it was lunch time, for lunch I had vegetable pasta with potato wedges and pineapple, and for pudding I had rice pudding. Then we played outside, I played Luna Jim with Chester - he was my friend again now - I'm feeling really sorry that I punched him.

In the afternoon, we all went to the hall and I saw three firemen. They were telling us how to be safe around fires, and they told us about buckets, and we played a game, and a fire officer did a rhyme about a lighter, but I don't remember the rhyme, but I do remember the last two lines '...do not touch, it will hurt you very much.' They showed us what they wear, and they were going to show us their fire engine but there was a real fire, so they had to go.

Tuesday, November 14, 2006

This morning, I was very wonderful when I came in. I gave Mr Collier my dinner money and also my blogspot address. Then it was register. Today there were 22 people in class. The it was assembly, we saw the clean gang, and sang the song 'we are the clean gang, we are the clean gang, we are the clean gang we clean you every day.' The clean gang were models, there was soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, knit comb, brush, comb, powder, scrubbing brushes. We also watched a video with a naughty boy and the clean gang who sorted him out.

Then we went back to the classroom and played, then it was time to play outside; we didn't have time to play Numberjacks because Chester didn't let me put the screen on. Then we went back in and went for PE. We played baked beans, dodge ball and catch the feather. Then we went back for our milk - today we had an apple with our milk. Then it was dinner time, today I had jacket potatoes, croquet potatoes and sweetcorn with salad cream and for pudding I had strawberry sponge with custard. Then we played Luna Jim outside.

Monday, November 13, 2006

This morning I didn't cry when I went in. Then it was register - today I took the register with Nichol. After registration, we played inside; I played with Chester and Stevie in the dough area where we made spaghetti. We also made a rainbow with Mr Collier - gave us some photocopies with three squares and a three rectangles and then we had to colour the boxes in and in the rectangles we had to write the colours down. I had red, green and yellow because yellow is my favourite colour.

After that we went outside to play - I didn't have time to play numberjacks, but I ran around and around and then we lined up to go back in.

After that it was milk time - I had an orange and some milk today. Then we played inside. After that it was lunch time. Today I had corned beef and roast potato with cucumber and for pudding I had yogurt because I don't like raisin sponge.

After lunch I played outside; we played Luna Jim. Then we went inside. Mr Collier photocopied another picture with a person on it, but it didn't have anything on it because you have to draw the things on his body. I drew hair, eyes, nose and on the outside I drew mittens, shampoo and conditioner, the sun and suncream, a scarf and a hat - and with Mrs Hudson I made a car number plate and I had to do numbers and letters.

Mrs Gibbon showed us how to do weaving - well, I knew how to do it. I went out and in, out and in, out and in - that's weaving. After that we sat on the carpet and it was home time. At Kaleidoscope we made a tent with Luke and Rebeca and Ryan.

When I got home today, I dressed up as a princess - and that's the picture I put on my blog today.

Thursday, November 09, 2006

This morning I was very sensible when I went in. Then it was register time. After that it was assembly - it was Mrs Hudson's and Mr Collier's assembly today, and all the colourful lights were flowing around, and the straight lights weren't on. They talked about people who had presents that were far away, and they didn't have money, so people gave them presents in shoe boxes.

Then we went back to the classroom and then played outside - we didn't have time to play numerjacks again today. Oh, it was milk time before that I had bananas and milk; they didn't have any milk for Suzanne, Stevie and me today.

After that it was dinner time - for dinner I had macaroni cheese, potatoes and sweetcorn and for pudding I had chocolate pudding with custard.

Wednesday, November 08, 2006

This morning I was very sensible when I went in. We weren't as late as yesterday, and so I was in time for the register. After that it was assembly, and there was some gymnastics done by the big girls and boys; Erin did some. Then we went in to the classroom again and it was playtime inside. Today I played with Chester, and we played numberjacks. Spooky spoon was in the game. Then we played outside - we didn't have time to play numberjacks.

After that we went in and had milk with 1 pear, and then it was lunch time - today for lunch I had spaghetti bolognese with jacket potato and cauliflower and for pudding I had rice pudding. Then we played outside - I was just in time to play outside because I finished my dinner just in time. Today Chester had a red scooter but Joshua wanted it, they were arguing and fighting about it. I went to tell Mrs Buttery and she said that no one is going on the scooter now, and Chester was crying and I said 'never mind crying Chester because your not going on the scooter' and when it was going in time he was still crying, so I said 'sorry Chester, but it's tidy up time so you won't get the scooter today, and you'll have to sleep until the next sleep before you get the scooter and it will be a long sleep!'

After that we went into the hall and did PE with Mrs Hudson's class, we did about the rainbow fish and sang 'the ally ally oh' song. Mrs Hudson had some music and we had one feather each, and she put the music and and then we dropped our feathers and had to try and catch them using all of our bodies. Mrs Hudson said we were going to play another game, and we didn't - that's really stupid. Then we went back to the classroom.

Tuesday, November 07, 2006

I was very late this morning. Mr Collier had already done the register when I got in. The children were already sitting on the carpet singing the days of the week song. I took the register to the office today with Nichol. After that, we played outside. We played numberjacks and Issac was going to be the bubble puzzle man and then we went in and we were just in time for play time inside.

Then it was milk time. I had carrots with my milk today - then it was dinner time; for dinner I had pizza and chips and pineapple and for pudding I had apple pie with custard.

This afternoon I played numberjacks again with Jake - he was number 4 and I was number 8 - we didn't do spooky spoon today.

Monday, November 06, 2006

This morning, I went in nicely, and then it was register time, and the we played inside. I played in the water with Suma. Then we sat on the carpet, and then it as play time outside, today we played numberjacks with Ruby. I had a sore lip today, so Ruby put some cream on me - it was strawberry flavoured cream. Then we sat on the carpet, and then went on Mrs Hudson's carpet and she read some stories to us. Then we sat back on Mr Collier's carpet and had milk.

For lunch I had croquette potatoes with hot dog and carrots and for pudding I had ginger pudding with custard. After lunch we played outside again, and then we played numberjacks. Then it was home time.

Thursday, November 02, 2006

This morning I was very sensible when I went in. When Mr Collier had finished doing the register, I took the register back to the office with Ellie Beavers. Today I took my sea creature book into school. Then it was play time outside - today Chester and I played numberjacks; I was number 5 and he was number 6. When there was a call, we ran to the screen and Chester said 'hold on I'm putting it on screen' and everything was going wrong and we were solving the problems, and spooky spoon was doing some of the problems, zero did some of the problems and that vacuum man did some of the problems, and the problem blob.

Then it was milk time. I had 1 pear today. After that it was lunch. Today I had wedges and some chicken and some sweetcorn with gravy and for pudding I had apple crumble with custard.

Wednesday, November 01, 2006

This morning I was very calm when I went in. Then it was register time. Today there was a special assembly for Mr Braille's class. He had all the lights on and they were glowing around. Then we sat on the carpet again, and played and then we sat on the carpet and had milk.

After that Mrs Hudson's class had PE. While she was doing that, we played and then tidies up. Then Mrs Hudson came back just in time for lunch. For lunch I had meat rolls with pasta and cauliflower and for pudding I had one yogurt for a change because I don't really like raisin sponge because the first time I ate it, I didn't eat it all. At lunch time, Matthew scratched me, but I forgot to tell the dinner ladies.

Then it was play time. I was a bit upset because I could play with anyone, but I found someone to play with; Sophie - she's a big girl. We played ring-a-ring of roses and Chinese whispers.
