Today I practiced my class play (not the Christmas play); I'm a narrator in that one too! The play is about a duck on a farm that had bad luck and had to do all the jobs for the lazy farmer. We are going to do it in assembly; I have to wait on the bench, use the microphone and then wait on the bench again - its brilliant.

We did big cat phonics today; you have to do sound like a,a,a,a and then the huge cat tells us how to spell really easy words like cat; its a bit boring.

For lunch we had spaghetti bolognese, but not with spaghetti; we had a different type of pasta. With it I had baked potato, parsnips and peas and raisin sponge for pudding.

Today was Miss Brackly's last day; she's going to live in France. We had assembly at the end of the day so that we could all say goodbye to Miss Brackly.

We had numeracy - we did some taking away.

For lunch I had chips, beans, sweetcorn and fish and tomato sauce and for pudding I had plain sponge with custard.

Today for lunch I had pizza, wedges, tomato sauce, baked beans and sweetcorn. For pudding I had apple crumble. We had assembly today, but I didn't go because I was reading - and we had theme work; we had this sheet and we had to stick the man made things in one column and the natural things in the other column.

I think we did literacy but I'm not sure because at the top of the white board it has these cards which say what we're doing, but today they didn't change it, so I don't know what we were doing!

Today all we did was do a workshop - no work, three play times, that's it! Well, I did have to do my spellings because that was before assembly. We don't usually have assembly on Tuesday, so it was special. What we had to do was make up a story until the end of the day and then we had to act it out - the story was about hyenas.

Because of the workshop, we didn't have milk and fruit! But we were first for lunch; I had shepherds pie, roast potatoes, carrots and something else (I've forgotten what). For pudding I had rice pudding with raisins.

Today I gave out my party invitations. In two weeks time on Tuesday its my birthday (but I'm having my party on the Saturday before). We sang some of the songs from our Christmas play today - I can remember one of them 'Nothing Ever Happens Round Here'. We had numeracy today - adding, and theme work - great fire of London again; we talked about the houses and why they burned so easily.

For lunch I had cauliflower cheese, baked potatoes, peas and carrots and for pudding I had raspberry yogurt.

Today we practiced our Christmas play - I'm going to be a narrator. We had numeracy, PE (we did balancing) and literacy. I nearly missed lunch today - I was making a card for Miss Ward because she was leaving today to go back to college - my card had a picture of a huge flower in a field.

For lunch I had fish fingers a tiny portion of chips, cold baked beans and very hard carrots with tiny bit of tomato sauce and for pudding had custard - just custard; that wasn't a very good lunch was it.

Today I did number work I did a tally chart and we had to do one for colours. The most popular colour was gold (25 people). The least popular was blue. Tomorrow we're going to find out about what part we have in the Christmas play, and we might even do a tiny bit of practice.

For lunch I had shepherd's pie with wedges, carrots and sweetcorn and for pudding I had (you'll never guess this one) - orange jelly!

Today is bonfire night (as everyone knows) - we learned about Guy Fawkes and we followed instructions to make chocolate finger sparklers. I did PE, but we didn't have to change our clothes.

For lunch I had some pork, some more pork (because I had seconds) roast potato (2), carrots (6) and cabbage (5). For pudding I had rice pudding with sultanas.

Today I wrote instructions for how to make the bookmark that I made yesterday. We had a spelling test as well (I got them all right), and I made loads of pop-up cards, one for Christmas, one for bonfire night and one for my birthday.

For lunch I had tuna, potatoes (new) and carrots and for pudding I had custard because I forgot to get some pudding when I was queuing for my dinner, and when I went to get some, all the carrot cake had finished.

Today I went to assembly then I made a book mark. After that I had play time, then I did numeracy and we were doing some tables about bonfire night. In theme work we learned about Guy Fawkes (again).

For lunch I had cheese, little new potatoes, peas and carrots and for pudding I had sponge with apple and custard. With milk I had an apple.
