Today we learned about Louis Braille; once there was a boy called Louis Braille. His dad was in a workshop making saddles with a special tool and his dad said "don't touch these tools", but his dad wasn't looking, Louis tried to put the tool into one of the saddles and it slipped and went into his eye and the blood went into his other eye so he was blind. He went to blind school and invested braille writing. Before there was braille writing they used proper letters to feel, but they were slow to read, but the new braille was really fast to read. There was a new school teacher at Louis Braille's school and that school teacher said "leave the alphabet how it is - not Louis Braille's way", but he didn't and that's how braille got invented.

With milk I had carrots, and for lunch I had chicken, mash potatoes, cauliflower and carrots and gravy and for pudding I had lemon yogurt.
